Nobody has 'spit in your eye'. You and others act like there's been zero cooperation from anyone East of Alberta with respect to pipelines which is far from the truth.

Why are you guys going easy on BC? Despite doing everything to block pipeline expansion, they're still part of your 'West' group?

What about our First Nations people? Arguably the largest group in Canada opposed to pipeline projects.

This shit has been going on for ages. In the beginning it was farmers complaining the 'east' was milking the cow while the west was feeding it. Now its oil and 'we' don't get enough and have to pay for those lazy bastards in Québec and the welfare Atlantic Provinces. I remember moving to Morris Manitoba back in '74. Farmers complaining about 'those eastern bastards' leaving them poverty stricken then driving off in their brand new cars. As the old joke goes, what's the difference between a 747 and a Western Canadian farmer? The 747 stops whining when it lands in Honolulu. Same seems to go with the oil guys.
There was talk going around, back in the Roy Romano days, sour grapes wanting to separate "rural" Saskatchewan from urban, with rural joining the 'real men' in Alberta. Same thing! I want mine and damn the hindmost. Not where I want to go!

Equalization redistributes FEDERAL money to provinces with lower earning potential, topping them up to the national AVERAGE provincial revenue using the AVERAGE provincial tax rate, thei are not ending up with more money than you or able to rax less than you due to receiving equalization. Listening to Albertans whine about not receiving equalization payments is like listening to a rich man whine about not being allowed to collect welfare. You’re fine. Get over yourselves.
