Which game that you have waited for and that was hyped to the rafters really dissapointed?

For me it is Doom III hands down. I waited for years for the game to come out. It lasted 3 hours on my system before I uninstalled.

That would have to be Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt. It was a real let down compared to the rest of the series.

For me the most hyped game was Civilization 3 followed very closel by Civ 4.

I'd agree... It would be far better if your Veteran Nuclear Submarines didn't need to live in fear of a trireme, and your tanks weren't able to be killed by a conscripted spearman. Not to mention the fact that civilizations hold grudges for 3,000 years for wars that they started with a sneak attack on your territory after a right of passage agreement...

Call of Duty 2 The Big Red One. More of the same and the AI is amazingly stupid

for me, the biggest disapointment that i had with a game was Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2. It was a fun game, but nothing compared to the original Red Alert.

totally this game was complete PAP!!!!! i finished it in a day it really let down the 1st MOH

MOH PA was not so good. Doom 3 was just too damn dark for me. Every once in a while I go back and try again but its still too dark.

That was my big beef as well kerfuffled. I mean this is supposed to be the 22nd century right? They have no NVGs? I have to switch my weapon for a flashlight, even a hand gun? I have two hands still right?

That was my only problem with the game as well but I found if you adjusted your monitor and the games graphic settings you could alleviate it somewhat.

I agree with the MOH:PA let down. After years of playing MOHAA I was really hoping for something special from EA on this. Quite disapointed.
