Thiizic Thiizic:
K sure call me an asshole...

OK you're an asshole.

Sorry, saying that a 15 year old "didn't deserve to live" is pretty much in solid asshole territory. She had a family. How do you think they feel reading crap like that. Even if you truly believe that, there's a time to keep your yap shut, and when it comes to the recently deceased, that's one of them. It's called common decency. You might want to look it up.

I'm pretty sure brenda called him a cute, not an asshole. It was the 'deserved to die' part that was reprehensible....or contemptible.

Heh, actually, I gave him a choice, whichever he preferred, asshole or cute. I don't care which one :)

*sigh* Time to play non-troll devil's advocate I suppose.

He (in a very offensive, hardly discernible twisted way) has a small point. Why the attention now? People have been offing themselves for years because of bullying, but we're getting all the attention now. Why is it that people suddenly care? People feel guilty about it? Brenda, I barely remember Tyler Clementi. Just like 2 years from now we'll barely remember Amanda Todd. It's wrong, but frankly it's the truth. When something terrible happens everyone likes to jump on a bandwagon, shake their fists and scream for action. But 6 months from now, nothing will be different, there will be little if any change, and everyone will have forgotten. Except the family.

But everyone who screamed for action is going to feel better about themselves. They'll think "liking" something on facebook, or posting "we should do something" on a forum actually means sweet fuck all. It, unfortunately, doesn't. It just makes everyone feel better.

(Not meant to be shitposting)

So just because people "forget" her and what happened, we can just say "She did not deserve to live anyway, that weak stupid girl, but hey, I respect EVERYONE".

Sorry Tricks, but that is just an asshole statement.

Yeah and when you make your [oint, valid or not, in an exrteemely offensive way it doesn't move the discussion forward. The media is the media. They're always hand-wringing over something or other. It doesn't mean that she deserved to die.

We're not going to stop bullying. I hope what it does do is shoine a nice bright light on these "cappers" who are out there trying to get young girls to do something compromising and then blackmailing them for it. That's what I'd like to see stop.

It sure is, not what I'm defending. It's this part:

$1:
People die everyday due to suicide and no one cares.

Which is absolutely true.

I'm curious as to why this one suddenly matters more than the others. They all matter.

I think you missed the point which is drawing the ire here. I don't think too many people are pissy about discussing the 'why now' aspect of his post. Perhaps it was the 'she was weak and deserved to die' part of the post people took exception to.

Either you are shit posting or you're being obtuse. :?

I agree 100%. Clearly you guys are misunderstanding my post. Thiizic is a shit stain. He can go fuck a goat for all I care. But I'm curious as to why all of this suddenly matters to the world. It barely has other than a few blips in recent years. What's changed?

You'd think after all this time you all would have figured out that's exactly what trolls want. I'm trying to steer the conversation away from him so that his fun stops.
