Based on two previous "tests" that determine one's political leanings, it appears I am just a tad right of centre.
Then again, outside of my youth I've pretty much been a centrist.

Tests say I'm left, and personally I see a lot of right wing tendencies in me. Looking back on it, I'm sticking with my original self-assesment, I'm neither centre, right, or left. I'm all encompassing, I base my opinions on what makes sense to me, and I let it fall into whichever political spectrum it may.

On a few issues I'm left of centre and on many more I'm right of centre. There are a few issues that I honestly can say I'm a little more than just right of centre. I don't try and pretend that I am a 'progressive'....a misleading term that many self deluded ascribe to themselves , many of whom are very authoritarian and paternalistic in their own views. 'Accept my path to a glorious future...or else!' Deniers will be eliminated

I'm pretty right wing, though I'm more libertarian on social issues. So...right?

Then again, outside of my youth I've pretty much been a centrist. That wouldn't have been the Canada Votes test on the CBC website during the election right? The same one that said I would vote Liberal?

Centre left, I'd say. I'll back aloser every time. I think that is a good definition of the left.

Predominately right without a doubt but it would be interesting to see the %.

Then again, outside of my youth I've pretty much been a centrist. That wouldn't have been the Canada Votes test on the CBC website during the election right? The same one that said I would vote Liberal? That was one of them but it just confirmed a different one Trev posted about a year before the CBC one. But both indicated I basically have a slight tendency towards the right. I do know there are some issues I'm decidedly conservative about and others I'm decidedly liberal about. But in either case, I don't give a flying fuck about political ideology, just want 'em to do what's best for Canada and Canadians.

There’s an old saying that goes something like “Conservatives want to let you keep all your money but, in turn, they get to tell you how to live your life. Liberals want to let you choose how to live your life in exchange for all your money.” I’ve said it before, but the political spectrum, “right” and “left”, is really a pretty silly, oversimplistic notion.
I’d say I’m a libertarian, a fiscal conservative, a government minimalist, a strong supporter of the Canadian Forces and a tough-on-crime death penalty proponent. So I guess I’m on the extreme right. But I’m also a social liberal, in support of corporate and financial regulation, unions, progressive taxes, consumer protection, environmental protection, public education and universal health-care. I’m a pacifist, a musician and a pot head. So I guess I’m on the extreme left. What’s that theory in particle physics that says an electron can be in two places at once?
