All 'religion' is a con for that matter! The concept of right & wrong is instilled in us from birth. Only the weak need the trappings and bullshit found with-in the parameteres of an edifice built to glorify man! Just follow the $$$$. The 'top dogs' of EVERY religion live in splendor while a vast majority of their congregation live hand to mouth or worse.Spiritual leaders. RIIIIIGHT!

The very 'ONE' that they purport to represent lived a life of poverty, avoiding all the trappings of wealth and home was wherever he was at the time he needed to rest! Show me in your bible where it states that 'the Creator' asked for money from anyone to support anything or build a church to honor himself!

Right & wrong are not in us at birth and if you really think so then go see a grade 1 playground and look at all the things that go on that adults would go to the bailey for.

Yeah...right and wrong are learned behavior, as right and wrong are based on your cultural background and societal morals.

As for all organised religeon being bad and "a con", that is a little over the top for me. Yes, a lot of bad is done in the name of religeon and the "do as I say, don't do as I do" is very prevailent, there is quite a bit that organised religeon does in the world that is good. It really is based on a person by person/leader by leader basis. Many are good, many are bad, and a few are down right crooks. Thats humanity for you.

Okay so where exactly is the IYHO In your humble opinion...

IMHO (In my humble opinion) there is a god a creator, his son Jesus died on the cross to pardon our sins.. MY god is the father, the son and the holy spirit.. the holy trinity combined...
You are free to believe as you do.. you have the belief that all organized religion is a sham.. I have faith and pride in my relationship and walk with Christ and nothing you will say will rebuke that from me..

I will not try to change or convert you but understand that be you a christian, an atheist,, a buhdist, muslim or a hindu. We are all people who see things in very different ways...but we are all children of the same father.

Faith is a powerful very powerful thing.

Oh, man. Faith and religeon are two different things. Even though they are connected, let's not bring faith into this one. A person can be an atheist and still have faith. Faith should lead to religeon, not the other way around. That is how we got these religeon problems in the first place.

Thats why faith is a powerful thing george 123.. because you can have faith as both a believer and as an atheist....

Faith is a powerful thing in the same way that hallunication is a powerful thing, and they have basically the same effect on people.

The only difference is that people have decided to dress up religious 'faith' as something admirable that shouldn't be mocked, as it is in any other circumstance.

YOu can mock Born agains faith all you want. It's ok we are not going to chop your head off, Put a price on ur head. Or call you cursed like the Catholics do. Born again believers believe that God loves all people that he made. The goodness of the Lord will bring repentance it says. So the Borm again believer is only obligated to love and care for the people. Bible says God is married to the backslider. We can't hate people or wish death upon anyone. Maybe in the Old testament he was exterminating sin, now sin is everywhere. That means if it is resisted thru Jesus Christ. It will mean more. Instead of not having sin around and not making that choice. Even angels had choices. Lucifer which is called Satan now. he was an arch angel. He rebeled against God. He got booted out of his position. Just like in EDEN there was choices. Follow his Salvation plan or don't embrace it. God decided to make mankind with a freewill. He doesn't want man to be forced to follow him like what the muslims do. And people are free to not embrance the plan of God. But they must hear the message tho. So they can't say. " I never heard it if they don't make it. When everything is all said and done.
