Germany hasn't been producing star quality players like they used to in the past. Guys like Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Lothar Matthäus, Klinsmann who could turn it up a notch when they needed it.

Don't count them out, though. They probably won't win, but they will find a way to be respectable.

Kirby Puckett sadly passed away at the young age of 44. He was one of the greats whose career was cut short by glaucoma and now dead from a stroke. The '91 World Series is one of the classics of all time. He will be missed.

Even though I was never a Twins fan, RIP Kirby.

The political creed is: do what you can get away with, only if it contributes to your personal gain.

So I would say no taboos were broken.

What a joke. Like I said, they're all the same. Plus, the other guy who was elected as a liberal and changed sides, all out for themselves. Don't give a damn about anything but themselves.

A sport requires a certain level of fitness and physical exertion.

That's why golf is not a sport.

Well curling, darts, and pool are considered sports, and generally you do them drunk. I think if it appears on TSN or ESPN it's fair to call it a sport.

So is golf.

But when they get in power and control the money, of course they will help their buddies, relatives, political allies, themselves, with gifts, grants, contracts, etc. It is not ...
